Your container arrives at Karachi Port Authority (KPT) or Port Qasim. Instead of clearing customs at the port and arranging transport to Lahore as a cleared consignment, the container is transported to Lahore under a Transshipment Bond, still sealed, still under customs control, and customs clearance happens at the Lahore Dry Port.
Al Fajar handles customs clearance at both Karachi Port and Lahore Dry Port under our PIFFA registration. For most Punjab-based importers with consignments destined for Lahore or nearby cities, Lahore Dry Port clearance is the more practical arrangement.
